There is nothing special about your experience; it's simply an outcome of chance or luck. If you had gambled consistently maybe you wouldn't have won the ones you didn't bet on. I don't think you should take these experiences seriously because no force affects gambling outcomes. The majority of the superstitious beliefs most gamblers believe in are Irrelevant to gambling outcomes.

I don't think he lost because he was not highly skilful. The outcome of sports bets is determined by luck, especially when you place a bet on a league you are unfamiliar with. Even in popular leagues, no certainty that well analysed games will lead to wins.
