I hate it when people become doctors just because they were pushed by their ignorant, prideful parents or because their goal is to become wealthy. We do not need more of such dangerous, greedy, incompetent "doctors" in this world. We need doctors who have a passion for learning medicine and saving lives.
If your goal is to become rich then why go to college? You can become rich without going to college.
Everybody and their grandmother thinks they will be given an amazing high paying CEO position after college, as if it's a guarantee. It's a lie. You will get a job with a higher than average wage, if you are lucky, and your wage will still be lower than you hoped.
Studying computer science is unnecessary if you want to just make apps or something. You can take a free programming course online.
Just go for an apprenticeship and then open your own business, hire people and make the really big bucks. Underwater welding is where the big money is, for example.

Underwater welding isn't a dream job because it takes you so many years to learn, you will work overseas and higher chance to get long term disease or even die.
I think now the world is shifting, old people thinks you have to work in white collar jobs to get rich, but now white collar jobs are mostly only get paid enough, what make their proud aren't how much money they made, but the uniform and the company they work for.
