They know their project aren't that good so they settle with giving big allocation for alpha and call it a day, at the very least that's what I can feel from all these desperate projects.

If that is the basis of logic then it can be interpreted that when a project enters Binance what does it mean that they are not confident in their own project, and that means that the project is a scam? is that what you mean?, because if the developer is confident enough that their project will bring change and will be useful for many people they will not do it like that?.
