Liverpool management has already taken a strategic step by extending the contracts of M Salah and Van Dijk, even though they lost Trent Alexander Arnold, it was a deal that allowed them to be more relaxed in the transfer market. Instead of relaxing, Arne Slot still seems to want to recruit new players after they sealed the deal with Jeremie Frimpong and Florian Wirtz. I think if there are players leaving Anfield, Arne Slot will clearly be quite active in the transfer market. It must be admitted, the depth of Liverpool current squad is good enough to compete in the Premier League and Champions League next season.

First thing that felt like a major signing in my perspective for Liverpool was actually been able to give contract extension to Salah and Van Dijk, this two are still very much instrumental to the development of Liverpool and allowing them to go at this period will be at huge risk for Liverpool, so getting them to stay was Liverpool first signing to me this transfer window. I think there will be departures and arrivals with names like Nunez confirmed while Atletico Madrid interest in Robertson is gradually growing. Robertson can be easily replaced with KerKez who is next Liverpool signing according to the rumours

Not only because both players have quite important roles for Liverpool's front and back lines, and not because they have played for Liverpool for quite a long time, but the reason Liverpool retains Moh Salah and Virgil is because even though they are quite old, both players are still able to compete with younger players and perform quite consistently. At the end of this season, Moh Salah has a pretty good record by successfully becoming the top scorer in the English league, and in the Champions League in the 9 matches he participated in at least he managed to score 3 goals and 4 assists. While for Vigril he is still the mainstay to lead the Reds' defense line, and in this transfer market after TAA left, Liverpool managed to bring in Frimpong from Leverkusen, and of course this step will further strengthen Liverpool's defense line, especially as we know that Virgil and Frimpong have quite good chemistry and closeness, because the two players have often played together in the Dutch national team. so the combination of Virgil and Frimpong in Liverpool's defense line is no longer in doubt. Regarding Nunez, according to football expert Fabrizo Romano, Nunez is one step away from leaving Liverpool, and will dock in Serie A with Napoli following KDB who also moved from Men City to Napoli.
