Everyone didn't expect that the US will do that attack. When it was thought that they're only telling things but no, they've joined already with the Israel for this war. On the other hand, Iran has got Russia, China, North Korea.

It seemed weird to me Iran would threaten that way the United States after Trump announced they alledgedly destroyed several of their underground nuclear facilities, to be honest.
As it stands for now there is little to nothing Iran can do in order to retaliate those attacks and I have already seen some news about people from Iran fleeing to Pakistan and people in Tehran taking refuge in their underground basements and avoiding to go outside because of the possibility of an air strike in the capital, which would be very serious.

What Iran said, those facilities were already vacated long time ago and that's still a flex for them despite those attacks. People leaving the ground is a must and they should move from other places that are not targeted.

It's because that Iran is far from the USA and normal lives are still fine. It's just that the troops that are present there will be mostly targeted by Iran if they retaliate and do a sudden attack.
