The expected trade of Durant is done...

Rockets got:

Kevin Durant

Suns got:

Jalen Green
Dillon Brooks
No. 10 pick in this year's draft
5 second-round picks

Is this a good deal for Rockets? I think a good step for playing bigger. Losing Green isn't very ideal maybe but I don't think the same about Brooks.

Durant is 36 but still can do pretty good. He is still one of the superstars and can help a great deal for bigger goals.  Smiley

There is a big risk on the Rockets here, trading Green which I think should have been their franchise player. But it seems that his performance on their first round against the Warriors might have something the management has seen and so they are willing to trade him.

So it's hard to say who won in this trade for now. In paper it looks like the Suns won as they got a young talent in Green and a good defender in Brooks and future picks. But we will have to see which picks they will got so that remains to be seen.

For the game 7, still a very close fight and the Pacers still hanging with the Thunder. But it will be crucial in the 3rd quarter as who might get control of it might have a good chance to win the NBA championship.

Edit: Feel sad for Haliburton.  Sad
