I once came across a post where a person shared his joy with others after winning several dozen dollars. It made me think about the relativity of our winnings and the ambiguity of absolute winning amounts.
To some, 50 bucks wouldn't cart anything better than maybe a burger at McDonald's.. but to others, it goes a long way!
Ain't nothing ambiguous about this; spare yourself sometime and go on vacations in 3rd world countries and you'll understand why.
Sometimes even I come across emotional comments from people with small winnings in the style of "it was the best day of my life!" And what do you think, can winning several dozen dollars become the happiest day of your life? Can this amount make you incredibly happy?[/quote] Since I'm not aiming for too much (which is the best way to probably get lucky with a huge win in time) anything that puts me in profit for a single bet is enough to be happy about. I'm not staking a $100 with an expectancy of $500k on a 50x roll.
And for several dozen dollars you can buy some important things and services.
serval dozen dollars? How much are we looking at specifically?
