FIFA Club World Cup matches are going smoothly and we saw last match of Atlético de Madrid football team against Botafogo football team and that was one sided match because Atlético de Madrid team was brilliant in everything. One person did goal in this match and that was Griezmann and he did this goal at 87 minutes and possession percentage of that team was excellent in this match and they had good possession in this match.  The shots of Atlético de Madrid team were more in number ans and these were 24 and 5 shots were on target. The possession was 62 percent and opponent team could not do anything good and their shots were less in number and these were only 7 and 3 shots were on target.

Atletico Madrid despite playing well, could not achieve the desired goal. They only scored one goal at the end of the match to get three points but they should have won by a greater margin to go to the next round. It was perhaps beyond imagination that the Brazilian club Botafogo would play so well qualify for the second position. In the first match of the group stage of the tournament, they lost 4-0 to PSG so Atletico Madrid should have won by a greater margin but even though the team players played aggressively the Brazilian club Botafogo played defensively and Atletico failed in every attack. The equation of the group stage was set in such a way that even if the three teams in the group had 6 points, Atletico Madrid had to leave the group stage. Another reason for this is that PSG had lost 1-0 to Botafogo in the previous match.

Atletico Madrid were indeed very unlucky for not making it to the next round,there elimination came as a surprise to me because after winning Botafogo by 1-0,they were still eliminated and Botafogo qualified. Lucky Botafogo made it to the round of 16, it wasn't easy for them to be among the qualified clubs that made it to the next phase. Brazilian clubs are quite amazing in this CWC,to be honest I didn't expect to see Brazilian clubs playing this good, infact I am satisfied with their performance in the group stages,hope they will continue to keep it up now that they have made it to the round of 16.

Porto can't just help it because they have some good players missing out and their defense is nothing but shamble. The midfielders were not also helping the matter and can not even build a game. To be honest, I have not seen FC Porto as weak as this before. Al Ahly played a great game by the way and they could have scored more goals if there was more play time. Not that Al Ahly was too good for Porto to handle but FC Porto were just too bad recently.

As for Athletico Madrid, I don't know what exactly their problem is because they have some good players but it's disappointing watching them play. They could have won with three or more goals but they messed up their chances and thrown themselves out of the tournament this early. The only good thing about them in this competition is that they participated.

Porto had one of the worst seasons in the last 10 years, and their performance in this tournament was proof of that.

Despite the financial benefits, most European clubs (especially the very big ones) were not very happy with this tournament. But this reaction is also usually caused by it being something new and at the end of a very long epoch. If the tournament really does return in this format, things could be different.

European clubs are complaining that there are too many games per season. In my opinion, the problem is that they want to play every game with the same players. The squads need to get bigger and give more players opportunities. If they really start rotating more players in games, there won't be this generalized fatigue.

I don't think that the players don't give the right importance to this tournament, we are talking about a competition of great economic interest, it cannot be snubbed so easily.
I feel sorry for Porto, but they were not up to the task, this was a match that had to be won at all costs but they failed to do so and it cost them elimination. But the most disappointed are the Atletico Madrid players who, despite 2 victories and 6 points in the standings, have to say goodbye to the competition due to goal difference. They were so close to qualifying! They only needed one goal to advance, but that wasn't the case. What a shame!
