Gündoğan doesn't have a plan to leave. He's just getting better in CWC, and have his confidence back like before he left City, then gone to the Barcelona. He scored a lot for City, and too good to be true to expect him to leave soon.
He's ballers now. Impossible to leave when he has very good performance in City.
Gündoğan is no longer young, his contract only has 1 season left and if Man City does not sell him in the transfer market this season then Gündoğan will leave for free at the end of the season.
In terms of performance, Gündoğan is still a little good even though he is 34 years old, but to cover a long season with Man City I am not sure that he will be consistent, maybe Gündoğan can only be a substitute for the team in order to maintain performance stability.
Why feel worry? Gündoğan has only one year remaining in City, but if he keeps perform. City can hand him a new contract.
That's why i won't rush to say he's not able to cover a long season with City. I remind you Rodri is back, and having him in the squad will obviously adding the depth to the City's mid.
