The player was annoyed with the decision the team made after they changed sporting director. They agreed to sell him with a release clause of €60million and now the team management said they don’t know about the agreement, they are demanding more money from any team that will sign him so that they can get more money as a team. It is not a bad idea as a team, but agreement is agreement. The players has now made up his mind to leave the team, and he will definitely leave because there are a lot of teams willing to sign him including Arsenal and Manchester United.

I don’t even know why Barcelona is disturbing themselves to sign more players this season, I think they have enough players to also manage for another season in order to recover financially, they are willing to sign some big names which will lead them to some financial difficulties again, because they need money to sign and also pay the players wages, and no big player will cut their pay now. Maybe they should wait for some free agent players to sign so that they will only battle with their wages.
