When your mindset about gambling is just for entertainment, you can’t really expect to win.. just my observation. Because when I’m not serious about it, like when I treat it lightly especially in sports betting, I don’t study the games before placing bets. I usually end up losing more. I don’t lose big, but if you look at the record, it’s not profitable or even close to break-even.

But when I start believing that I can actually be profitable, that’s when I do the work. I study the games before betting, and that’s when I start getting better results.

I
think when people say that they gamble in other to entertain themselves, it doesn't necessarily mean that they are not as serious compared to when someone is gambling to make a profit. Let's take  a typical online gamer for example. They practice all the technics just like you make your own analysis right?, but at the end of the day, they are playing to win and also for entertainment. Nobody likes to lose no matter the type of gambling that they are involved in, besides I haven't seen people joking around when they are after a must win, or in contention with others.
