I have several proofs of account ownership:
My Bitcoin withdrawal address
My registration email
The referral link I used
The approximate date of my last login
Typically, Only KYC is the only way to recover an account that lost 2FA since a hacker can get all those supporting details by compromising someone device.
But I think a sign message on the receiving address for the withdrawal can be a substantial document to claim ownership to your account.
However, Freebitco.in support ticket is very slow to respond. Your best chance to wait CSFB account to become active again here and handle your case.
Thank you for your reply!I’ve just double-checked, and I do have access to the Bitcoin wallet address I used for withdrawals. I can sign a message from that address to prove ownership if needed.
However, I’m still holding out hope for an official response from Freebitco.in support. I’ve been sending support requests to
support@freebitco.in, and I only receive automated replies from
fin@freebitco.intercom-mail.com.
Here are some of my ticket numbers over the past few months:
#24587: Help
#57243: Help
#4461914: Help Please
#14037601: Help
All of them say:
"
Submitted – We'll pick up your ticket soon"
But I never got a reply.
As you can see from the ticket numbers, they have increased significantly over time — which suggests that the support queue is growing rapidly. I’m posting this here in the hope that an official representative notices my case and can help escalate or resolve it.
I'm ready to provide:
Signed message from my withdrawal address
Registration email
Referral link I used
Last login period
Any help or guidance is highly appreciated.
#edit.
Sorry, I made a bit of a mess, but I know that his problem is that he lost the 2FA and didn't write down the key.
I just don't understand the part that he needs to use the original IP from when he registred the account to be able to try to recover the 2FA, enable/disable,.(?) ...
... but I remember once a friend had the same problem, and it was necessary for 15 days I think, to access the email and open the link that Freebitco site sent him, after he had accessed all those days, he managed to disable 2FA, but it was on the second attempt, because on the first he failed to access one day...
I don't know if this still works today. But I really don't understand the part that he needs to use the same IP as before?
I’ve tried to reset it many times, but each time I get the following message:
"Sorry, your 2FA cannot be reset now because your last login city is different from your current city.
Please try to reset your 2FA from the same internet connection that you last used the website from."
