Charles will have a height/reach advantage, but I'm not sure if that would be enough. The same could be said about his fight against Tsarukyan, but he lost.
Btw, once I have found a very heated discussion, that Oliveira won that fight. Arman did incredible by escaping choke at first round, but round 3 has ended with Oliveira closing guillotine on Tsarukyan, and fight has ended Tsarukyan face down. People say that he was submitted on the last second or exactly at 0:00 on the clock. People say that when siren sounded, Tsarukyan was unconscious.
Lol. I gotta watch that fight again. I forgot about it...
But yeah, the thing about Oliveira is he takes a lot of damage early. He does come back and wins the fight after taking the damage, just as we've seen in matches against Chandler and Poirier. But with the kind of damage he'll be getting from Topuria, I don't think he could come back for another around. But dunno.. I could be wrong.
Many of the fighters themselves are disagreeing with the expectations that are being created for Topuria. They are simply forgetting that Oliveira is tough to take down and Topuria needs to prove himself at another weight class. If you look at the fighters' comments, they always follow this path that Topuria needs to prove himself and Oliveira is strong, completely contrary to the public.
