That is political, it is about the state of Saudi Arabia is in, a kingdom, with a King. So not everyone has to accept that, even in UK, when there is a king or a queen, there are parliament and senators and what not, who rules the country, and the royal family is just for show basically.
If the reason is political, I understand, there are people who hate UK for what they did historically, there are billions who hate Americans, there are people who hate the west and the ones who hate the east. Basically political reason is normal, we all hate someone, and if someone hates the Saudis, then they can hate Ronaldo for going there.
