Including bonus and everything, it will be close to £200 million per year ($275 million). But again, we need to remember that this is the final contract in his playing career. Back in 2021, his annual salary at Manchester United was just £25 million. And then we have some shameless creatures who complain that Ronaldo moved to Saudi Arabia because he is greedy. Football is just like any other profession. When you are getting paid 1/8th of what you are worth, the best option is to look for another contract with another employer. Those who complain about it are just pure hypocrites.
There are differences though, not everyone thinks the same way, nor for the same reason. If the complaint is "he just preferred money" then yeah that is a bad complaint, because of course he should prefer money, there is no doubt about that.

But, there are people like Kroos, who did not leave, and even when offered a ton of money, and talked badly about Saudi people. That is political, it is about the state of Saudi Arabia is in, a kingdom, with a King. So not everyone has to accept that, even in UK, when there is a king or a queen, there are parliament and senators and what not, who rules the country, and the royal family is just for show basically.

If the reason is political, I understand, there are people who hate UK for what they did historically, there are billions who hate Americans, there are people who hate the west and the ones who hate the east. Basically political reason is normal, we all hate someone, and if someone hates the Saudis, then they can hate Ronaldo for going there. One thing I have a beef with on this situation, is that normal people can't live and have kids with their girlfriend there, laws forbid it, but Ronaldo can. That is unfair and I do dislike that part, rest? I don't care where he plays, it's really not a big deal if you ask me.
