Here's the point I want us to discuss; He said he was confident that Real Madrid will win the game because at the time he placed the bet Real Madrid had 1.40 odds with Al-Hilal on 13 odds. So the distance margin convinced him that Real Madrid would win while at last game ended 1:1.

In truth, even I would take that bet, not just because of the odds but the teams in play. We all know the quality of Real Madrid and what they could produce. So, favoring an odd of 1.40 against a 13 odd seems reasonable. Mind you, odds is usually something to look at in doing your analysis of a game. If you look at that odd, I would say it’s a little too high even for Real Madrid and should be something around 1.21 against a 13 odd.
The result might have turned out to be a draw and consequently a lost bet but, that’s gambling, you could always bet it wrong.
