The risk mainly depends on the gambler, the more experienced the gambler is as a gambler, the more risk he is capable of taking. Maybe I am weak as a gambler but if I take big risks then of course I will have the highest chance of losing. But this is the most important thing to remember for every gambler, one should take big bets in gambling based on experience, a person I know has been playing for about 18 years and is not that experienced.
But he took big risks and bet and won the first time, later he faced people and bet more than that again and lost all his money. So the lesson to be learned from this is that it is best to bet based on experience as a gambler.

I think in gambling taking risk is actually the most important role, wether you stake high or low the fact is they are all risk, what if being afraid of losing more then you settle for low stake and keep losing, maybe before you might get a win you've lost more than what you are about to win, note there are some winning we consider as winners lose, like with you settling for lower stakes you've lost more than you expect then when finally have a win it's not equal to what you've lost, and that alone can make you regret at last for not staking high on that particular game, and note while gambling luck might be on your side for the first few minutes you might spend there, and you being a low staker will regret every of your winning that moment, but imagine staking high one of two winning can make you leave there with a heart full of joy, so in my opinion high stake and low stake they are all risk so you have to make it more beneficial while gambling.
