This is really a good question.

Before answering this I want to say that in this current era we all know about the weapons, and we also know that Police are using that to save our life and on the others hand that terrorist used that to kill the innocent people. Here is the same thing what cases but we the human and using that sometime in a right path and also sometime in a wrong path.

So yes in my personal opinion, I would like to say that the main problem is on us and that is our greed what we can't control and as a result we made the gambling a cause of our sorrows instead of having fun.

The problem of gambling addiction is not just about greed. Much of this problem depends on a person's psyche, genetics, and even social status. Many people have psychological or genetic problems that affect their lives and are beyond their control. Such people have a more pronounced predisposition to various addictions, including gambling. I don't think it's right to blame them for becoming addicted to gambling because of greed. They are more likely to be victims who need professional help.
