It was a good match. Flamengo showed that a few adjustments are still needed, they conceded two goals early on, which completely changed the team's approach. But despite the loss, I felt the team is on the right track. They just need to fix some small mistakes and aim for more consistency throughout the season. Gerson, who is on his way out, will be a big loss in the midfield. I’m not sure how Filipe Luís will manage to deal with that.
Flamengo absolutely brought the flare. They bounced back from conceding 2 goals in nine minutes. That is real spirit. Midfield and attack were kinda hum. I'm just surprised where Bayern managed to shots 5, they made 12. But Bayern's cold-hearted pressing stole the show, Pulgar OG, Kane double, Goretzka strike, and finally, Bayern could make an output of 4 goals from solid chaos. Flamengo showed they belong on this stage, but a defensive error cost them in a 4‑2 defeat .
