How many times have you said that to yourself? usually we only say this when we've already lost badly. Once we've lost control and a significant amount of money, we regret our actions and promise ourselves we won't gamble again. We tell ourselves we're done gambling to avoid repeating the same mistakes.
I told myself this only once. After which I stopped gambling. Of course, it happened after my loss, but this loss can't be called big. Even this experience was enough for me.
But what happens afterward?
Days or weeks pass, emotions settle down, we get our hands on some extra cash, and suddenly we're gambling again.
This is how it happens for most people, but not for me.
