Although in the EPL, one is called prediction thread while the other is called discussion thread.

These threads are so much confusing that I just avoid the totally. And they seem like a repeat of what is already being said on the others. If the moderators can do something about them that would be great. Even of someone wants to create a new thread for a new season, the one from the old season should be locked if not naturally, people will just assume and continue the conversation from the old thread.
