Why should we conclude that Bayer Leverkusen would not give Bayern Munich a stiff competition just because Xabi Alonso left the club. It is obvious that the new club might struggle a bit to get used to the players but the integration might be fast. Vincent Kompany took over Bayern and in one season they won the Bundesliga. It is important to know that

Bayer's new coach is not a novice. Erik ten Hag might not have a rosy path with Manchester United but he brought glory to Ajax.  That's how many people doubted Kompany until he proved them wrong. We have to wait and see how the season goes before we make conclusions.

This is what I want many people to understand about Eric Ten Hag taken over Bayern Leverkusen and managing them next season. People’s past are sometimes lessons for them to become better in their new quest in the future. Eric Ten Hav saw what lead to his sack in the former club and still knows what he did in Ajax that made him successful there, so I feel he can really make a change here again after given this opportunity once more.

Ajax is different from Manchester United, the same way that Manchester United is different from Bayern Leverkusen. He should be given benefit of doubt and not coming to conclusions just yet even when he’s yet to tie charge of the whole team since he was signed as their new head coach. His coordination and the number of matches he’s able to win and performance in those matches will tell how well he can with the club especially in the first five matches when the league begins.
