I really don’t understand the logic behind this many signings Chelsea have been making, it feels like they just want to sign every good player available in the market so no other club gets them lol. How Maresca will manage a team with so many players is beyond comprehension, I hope he can manage them though.
If you look at it, it's not a bad strategy Clubs that barely update their squad start to lose And if they have enough money to buy good players, stars, among others, then they start to consolidate a good team, strong, with mobility and quality, The important thing is that they have players with enough quality to compete in matches with a lot of pressure.
Todd Boehly has a different approach than Roman Abramovich. Undeniably, Todd Boehly leadership style seems to prioritize business, especially when it comes to buying and selling players in every transfer window. However, this approach has also been quite successful. Chelsea is slowly starting to find its rhythm again, and they now have a wealth of players in their squad, which, in my opinion, makes Enzo Maresca job easier.
Of course, not every Chelsea player is world class, but Reece James, Enzo Fernandez, and Cole Palmer are among those who are. With their aggressive transfer policy, it’s likely they’ll discover more young talents who fit into Maresca system, which in the long run will give Chelsea strong squad depth. Next season, Chelsea will return to the Champions League, and with the increasingly congested match schedule, Enzo Maresca will no longer have to worry about rotation options due to the abundance of players in his squad.
