Have came across many people talked about positive mentality or mindset while gambling, and of course it's good to have positive mindset or mentality while gambling but, to what extent would you keep losing to understand that not all time you would keep counting on positive mentality or mindset than drawing a close check of your gambling statics to know that you don't need only positive mindset rather you need strategies to get winning instead of keep losing without adequate planning.
I do submit that having the positive mindset contributes to the chances of winning. But overall what matters is the acceptance of the situation especially if your expectation goes otherwise.
The idea of having a positive mindset in gambling can definitely contribute to your overall attitude whenever you gamble. This somehow comforts you in the event that you experience a losing streak on your end. Rather than having a positive mindset, what is MORE important is the awareness of the situation especially that when you must admit defeat and loss on your part.
Positive mindset without having enough knowledge, no plans and research will just end up getting lost as normal. I don't think in any way being positive mindset help you to win in gambling, of course it will do in different things. But for a luck-based casino games, it doesnt work like that.
I agree with your opinion, it sounds quite reasonable considering the dominant strategy is only when betting on certain games, such as sports betting that we know analysis is needed here to increase the chances of winning, so not only rely on luck that plays a role here.
In other games we may have poker which almost all gamblers definitely rely on strategy to win the game, this requires focus and timeliness in making decisions, this is a recommended game.
I also agree with the points that you have raised.
As a general rule, a person must be willing to accept all the consequences of gambling especially if things are not on their favor. If they still continue to have a positive mindset despite losing hundreds to thousands of dollars in the process, then everything would be a waste. Rather than being positive, being situationally aware of your status and financial situation is the goal of not winning but rather preventing more collateral damage in the process.
