The funny thing is that many gamblers blamed everything when they made mistakes. They always find an excuse for their wrongdoing, and the sad thing is, they even include religion. Addiction is not completely related to any belief but rather is a personal choice. Indeed, it was more than that but some kind of mental problem.
I think the saying is right: a gambler never makes mistakes once, but several times. That is why we become addicted due to our wrong approaches and behavior. Which is why we don't have a reason to blame others besides ourselves.

When people have problems, they always look for someone to blame, even in situations where they are the ones to blame. They will not accept this harsh reality. For example, in my country. This photo:
And as for healers, in my country many people believe that these guys in the photo have supernatural powers, that they can talk to spirits and that they can bring luck, wealth and success to anyone they want. Of course I don't believe that.
But unfortunately many people spend money paying these guys in the photo to have luck in the game of chance called Aviator and unfortunately they lose all their money and commit suicide. But it's unbelievable that the government of my country doesn't punish these guys in the photo and doesn't punish the churches in my country that lie and say they can cure all kinds of illnesses and bring luck to people.
Genuine churches don't say that can heal all sicknesses and diseases but say God can, and indeed God is more than able to heal any form of sickness and diseases, and also cause any one to be Lucky, though in Christiandom, luck is referred to as grace, favor. All this is possible with God, and that He hasn't done it for you doesn't mean it's not possible. Whom ever God chooses to bless, He blesses the person through any means, even through gambling, betting etc.
