Capital is really a big factor in trading. If you have a small capital, the profit you will earn might not be worth it compared to the stress you will undergo in executing successful trades.
Skills trump capital when it comes to trading. A lot of people don't realize this but that's the reality. Having capital without the prerequisite skills for trading will eventually get one's account burnt. But with skills one can build from the scratch or get to trade for others and get paid or on commission. That's what people try to do with prop firms.

Knowing how to trade doesn't mean you can have a better life. In fact, it's even more stressful than having a full-time job.
That's not accurate. Trading may be difficult to learn and get a grip on but once you know how to trade, it becomes less stressful. Anyone who compares trading to a full-time job and feels the latter is better hasn't started making real money in trading. How do you compare the comfort and ease of making money from a corner in your home at your own pace to being under a slave master?
