Man City has made several efforts to improve the team to be better and they have managed to get a number of players who are considered important by the current coach. Failure last season was not a major setback for Man City because they had good enough finances to make an evaluation and now Pep Guardiola is trying to make several evaluations that were considered quite weak last season.

I still believe that Man City is one of the teams that will compete for the title next season because the way they overhauled the team is clearly visible. This season will be much more interesting competition in the Premier League because a number of top teams are making major overhauls.

I think Guardiola is definitely aiming for that. If City have another weak season without titles, then most likely they will be forced to change their coach. But I agree that City did a very good job with their transfers. They have strengthened both their attack and midfield, so I think everything should be fine. Especially now that Rodri is back. After his injury, there were a lot of talks that he is one of the most important players in the team because without him it is difficult to build up the attack. So I believe City will definitely get back into the title race.
