It is funny, because even in contexts which have nothing to do with gambling, we as people will always be in situation we need to take risks, some bigger and more obvious than other ones, but there is always some choices. Some people may argue that the mere action of going out our homes to work or deciding to either attend a party or not, already implied a risk (which we do not consider, as it is very small compared to other activities).
Also, there are people who talk about their desire to start their own business and earn more money, but all of it implies risks (not all businesses are successful) or people wishing to get better jobs (but not all the jobs which seem to be better are so easy or what one expected at first).
So whether we realize it or not, we are always managing risks and as soon as we sign up to some online casino, that risk management needs to get stronger and more sensitive, so we don't lose control over our wager and end up losing money which was never expected to be at stake.

It is very true what you say, sometimes we can be strong in many situations that are difficult, but there comes a time when if we lose a lot, that moment arrives where our spirit can go into decline and that is bad, many of us have gone through difficult times, through hard things and sometimes we see the casino and bets as the great solution to solve, but it is not like that, sometimes we have to be even stronger in spirit to get fully into the games and sports bets to endure.
