Brian Norman is still untested at this level and very young, but I have a feeling he is going to put Devin Haney to sleep. Against Jose Ramirez, Haney looked afraid and was still rattled by that beating he took at the hands of Ryan Garcia. Norman has only been getting better and is coming off the leading knockout of the year contender in his opponent’s backyard.
This another boring fight. Devin Haney's next fight would have been against King Ry if Ryan Garcia was not very lazy to reduce the weight and fight on super lightweight or on a catch weight 142 pounds. This certainly affected his speed and his readiness. On strength, it is still very much there, however, what can you do with this if speed and readiness is not 100%? This certainly showed that strength is not enough. This might sometimes he enough on heavyweight but not enough on lower weight divisions.
