OMG.  Reinforcing negative behavior.

Wondering why we don't have nice things?
i sent you a merit for writing a two line reply. as i figure that indicates you must be having down time too.

I will not admit to that.

I cannot confirm.

Golly, gee whiz, Wally.

Wow. you got only two lines reply from JJG.

I still have to write a reply for JJG post but not able to find time to do that.

Something to look forward to.

Over the years, I have had some posts that I put on hold (like - creating an extra tab for them in my browser), and many times, I have found that if I don't respond within a week or two, then it becomes way less likely that I am even going to be able to garner up enough gumption to make efforts to respond.  Next, the post ends up getting removed from my tabs.

Could the 4 year cycle thing be dead?

I am inclined to error on the side of their not being dead.   But, yeah, it is surely possible that 4-year cycles could actually be dead this time.. whatever "dead" might mean to you.

I'd love one last cycle that will send us to $500k.

How far the BTC price goes up in any kind of possible blow-off top seems to be a slightly different question as compared with the question if the 4-year cycle is dead, since such cycles could be dead whether or not the BTC spot price ends up going to $500k-ish within the coming 4-12-ish months.  5x is not really outrageous, even from here, yet it is difficult to imagine something like 4x happening in less than 4 months.

found some 130 proof jack

as long as we go up slowly I have to stick with the 114 proof
Screw that namby-pamby watered down crap.

190 proof FTW.

Haha, last time I drank that I puked all over the side of the house!

Explosive puke!

I was wondering why no one mentioned Bacardi 151, but apparently the company discontinued producing it in 2016.  Too bad.

In my younger years, I recall seeing it around quite a bit as a high alcoholic content drink option.  No longer, apparently, unless someone has some lying around.  Everclear was frequently mentioned too, but I don't remember Everclear being as popular as Bacardi 151... not that I claim to be any kind of "expert."

October 5, 2025

Sigh...
From my point of view, i'd say 2025/10/5 will likely deliver a bright chance to buy some cheap corn, while we will possibly witness how strong ETFs, Saylor and the rest will hold up to their long term hodl strategical promises.

ONLY Saylor and some of the other bitcoin treasury companies have proclaimed long term HODL plans.  Even though the ETF administrators hold the keys, they still cannot make those kind of "long term" HODL claims, since the ETFs are just reflecting client BTC holdings, which are likely all over the place... so if clients sell then ETF administrators sell, etc. etc.

Luckily never messed with Everclear, but can confirm after Bacardi 151 (proof) everything else tasted like water.

Ok.  DaRude.. you beat me to mention Bacardi 151... and yeah, I don't really have any personal stories that I would like to share about some of my own foolishnesses.
