Don't forget that in football you can also place a bet on 1x or 2x, i.e. the first team wins or draw, or the 2nd team wins or draw. The odds of these options are much lower than the odds of 1, X and 2. In tennis, despite the fact that you only have two outcome, bookmakers tweak odds in way that the house margin is baked in over two options instead of three.

I usually place a bet on UFC matches. I win it very regularly because I'm simply good at guessing the outcome of the fights.
