Agree. Positive mindset will only can help improving our confidence. But it won't raise the chance to win gambling games. Winning is mostly related to the luck and our ability in analysis/research. Sure, the plan is also supporting right way in gambling. With a good plan, we can avoid wasting funds carelessly and optimize the chance of winning. Even when we win the games, we can use it properly if we have a plan.
