From several poker events that I have attended, only a few bitcointalk users have joined. Whereas actually there are many users of this forum who can play poker. I hope other users can join the poker tournament on this forum to make it more fun.😊

Yeah, I am amazed too. Considering the high prize pool and very minimal buy-in requirement, these tournaments are very profitable. We are having almost 25-30 players in each tournament. This is one of the reasons for creating this thread. I am sure many will learn poker so that we can have fun with more members. We already have almost a full week packed with events.

If you dont know how to play poker, it is an easy, fun game: How to play poker?
Poker seems more interesting than I thought or maybe I'm having fantasies based on how well it was explained in this video. I think it is engaging and needs a lot of concentration and cognitive involvement. I might be more involved in the poker activities in the forum for now as an observer until I can understand the game better to gain more experience and interest in it. It looks interesting from the explanation, I just hope it is fun as well when played live.

LOL, any desciption in  movies is generally overhyped and away from reality (ok, let's say about in 90% cases Grin). Poker is no exception.
