We've been there and done what they're thinking and if they're wiser than us, they'd take heed and listen to our advice. But if they want to go the rougher way, they can experience it on their own but they already have some idea that it's not going to be an easy path if they only have passed it through their other ears with the advices that we've given to them. If they believe experience is the best teacher, they have to choose, experience it themselves or listen to people's experiences.
