I had expected them to take steps like Chelsea, which is to completely overhaul the existing squad, but they never did that, especially considering that now they are in a very difficult situation because of the many mistakes in the past, so it is not easy to sell some of the existing players because not many teams want them and the players with high salaries also do not want to leave, they prefer to maintain their contracts.
It is difficult for Manchester United, especially since they are now not going to spend or spend a lot of money anymore, so I am pessimistic that Amorim can develop this team quickly unless Manchester United management is patient for Amorim to process.
That is the difference between management and ownership. United has terrible ownership and management, Chelsea has a terrible owner (in the sense that he doesn't understand football) but he hired good management to handle the football things so they are doing "fine", still not champions level of course, they won't win the league, but doing much better than United of course.
Owners of United should realize, they have no clue about football, and fire the management team, the front office, the directors etc, and get someone better there. If they can be smart enough to do this, then they can win. Like this year, they stopped ALL transfer possibilities, and only chasing Mbuemo for two weeks now, and got Cunha, and that's it, they think, adding just those two, to current team, would make them be much better... We all know they won't be that much better.
