As far as I know he doesn't have any release clause now. At least the source below confirms it. But his market value is still 70 million euros. I think Leipzig would never let him go cheap.

Right now, transfermarket says he is worth 70 million, and most of that is because of his age, not for his talent, which is why I believe it is a great thing and should not be all that complicated at all.

People are approaching this as talent thing for Bayern level, but if Xavi was 29 years old, same talent, then he would be 30-40 million at most. Which is why I believe we are not going to see him stay the same if he goes to Bayern, at 22 years old, if he goes to Bayern, then I am pretty sure we are going to end up with a lot of money with time, and he should be getting much better.
