The coach that led Bayer Leverkusen to win the Bundesliga title and made Bayer Leverkusen a threat to Bayern Munich lately is no longer the coach of Bayer Leverkusen, and we aren't sure if Erik ten Hag could lead Bayer Leverkusen to challenge for the Bundesliga title and be a threat to Bayern Munich next season, so we have to wait until the new Bundesliga season starts for us to know if Bayer Leverkusen will actually be a threat to Bayern Munich or not. The Bayern Munich player who was injured in the Club World Cup by the PSG goalkeeper is a big blow for Bayern Munich because he's one of Bayern Munich's finest players, but Bayern Munich is lucky the transfer window is open for them to replace him, so I think Bayern Leverkusen will not capitalize on Jamal Musiala's absence to beat Bayern Munich to the Bundesliga title next season.
And Leverkusen was at the peak of everything but with the way things are going let's see if Ten Hag will do better because the former coach was the one that actually built the club so it is left for Ten to do better and at some point we all know that they were a threat to Bayern Munich and when it comes to cases like this it makes everything more interesting to watch because at some point when it is one sided it is no longer interesting so all that can happen is for Ten to make more difference in coaching Leverkusen. At least he has a job and all eyes are on him at this point. He needs to prove people wrong at this point.
It's going to be a difficult transition and although we're still hoping for something good for Leverkusen, we're certainly aware that it's going to be difficult for them especially with the switch to Ten Hag who has a lot of doubts from a lot of people including myself.
Leverkusen are currently in good shape but with so many changes in terms of coaches and players of course this will make the situation can be difficult to control especially if Ten Hag does the same coaching pattern as he used at United then it could not end well.
But indeed for now we still have to wait whether in the end Ten Hag can really make things go well or instead make his career even more criticized for not being able to stabilize the club he coached just like before.
