I thought Bayern had no chance at all from the way they played. The game was hard for them, they tried to fight, but PSG beat them at a relaxed pace with not so much effort. I am very curious how PSG will play in the new season, whether they will stay at the same high level of play or not. Obviously they won't be equal in Ligue 1, but much more interesting is their performance in the Champions League
That was not at all what the game looked like. Bayern was close to scoring and if you consider the game as a whole, a few things went horribly wrong for Bayern, but they were not inferior in any of the statistics except for goals scored. That is what makes winners and losers of course, but claiming that PSG won at a relaxed pace, I think you should ask the players and they will certainly give you any answer but not that it was a relaxed game. It was hard work for them obviously. Bayern had their chances, but PSG got away with a couple of things on that day.
In the CWC against Real Madrid, I think Mbappe will take it 100% seriously. He has probably been griefing when he saw PSG win the UCL title right after he left the team. That's something a world class player like him can't easily digest without taking revenge. The CWC is not UCL, but still if he can score and kick out PSG while contributing a goal, that would at least be something for him.
Mbappe's effort was clearly not enough to be even remotely close to a win today. PSG had no problem beating Real Madrid. I knew it was going to be a tough match and most likely end with a minimum score, but I didn't expect PSG to take on Real like that. In the first half hour of the game PSG scored 3 goals, but knowing Real I did not turn off the match, I realised that 3 goals for Real Madrid is not so much. But alas, with every minute it became clear that the situation would not change
