This is one of those questions like what will you do if there's a solar flare that destroys the Internet? Should we really worry about this?
No, it we should not. It is a waste of time when there are more pressing issues to be worked on. FactThe fact is, that most engineers and developers agree with my view thatof it isbeing a waste of time right now, otherwise they would redirecthave redirected their time towards this. However, it is a good opportunity for spammers to write some useless shitposts and altcoiners to spread some lies in yet another quantum computing thread.

Quantum computing is a joke. The rivalry is based on how much computing power one dev team has over the other and they show off in scientific journals that it takes their computer a given amount of time to resolve this or that problem. The most important part in all of this is that these problems are written in a language a quantum computer can process. It cannot process our binary data yet.
So far it has achieved nothing. It is like fusion energy, every 5 years it is just 5 more years away as it has been for the last 50 years. Some busybodies gotta justifying the funding that they are getting you know.  Wink
