No Newey, no Horner, and possibly no Max. Red Bull is looking like they are overhauling the whole team and that could cause a lot of trouble for them in the near sight. I am sure that they are going to end up worse with all of these people gone. Aston Martin didn't get better with Newey but it is said that he is only working on the 2026 brand new regulation car.
It's clear that Red Bull is making a mistake. I would understand if they fired him for allegations, that is not good if it was true and all that, but firing him for bad results? That makes no sense and I am pretty sure that was a bad move and should not have happened. I get that Red Bull isn't doing good now, but there were years they didn't do great before, so it is not the first time and he found a way to get back. Sad to see this 20 year run end.
All those are very valid points but of course those outside the door of those meetings rooms where these discussions are taking place will never know the true answer to those questions.
The whole thing about RedBull don't make so much sense, I mean Horner in theory was sacked because of his problems with Verstappen family, but if Max is not gonna continue why he(Horner) is not gonna continue in the team? And what about the academy drivers? That failure is also being weighted?
Is a new RedBull team as a whole? A 180° shift?
Let's me wait for more news.
The entire thing certainly looks quite bizarre if you ask me with the timing and even with an announcement of that Ferrari are looking at acquiring Horner just as he was released.
@Volgastallion
Fred Vasseur was in discussions with Ferrari on if they would be renewing his contract before the last race since them bringing Hamilton at the beginning of the season did not work out as they planned. So the blame had to go to the team principal I sposse.
