Elon was for crypto even before but people from the internet are putting too much clout of what he's said that fiat. Before most of us are happy when Trump talked about the support for Bitcoin.

And now, we see that it's Musk that's saying that he's for Bitcoin even though we already know that he's for crypto but mostly with memes before.
Many persons are not mad at Elon Musk because of his love for memecoins. They're because of his criticism of Bitcoin, and he didn't just criticize it but went ahead and stopped accepting purchases of Tesla in Bitcoin. Hence, his remark about the new party accepting Bitcoin is not sincere. He only said that because he wants support from the Bitcoin community, and the moment he's done. He will go back and be talking nonsense about Bitcoin.

But one thing that most people overlook is that Tesla still holds more than 10kBTC to date. That means Elon's support for bitcoin hasn't gone away and he's just reiterating his support. The difference between Elon and other politicians is that he has been supporting bitcoin since 2021 while Trump and other politicians have called bitcoin a scam before. They only really changed their tune and came back to support BTC when they ran for president.
Trump called bitcoin a scam in 2021 when he left office at the end of his first term, why is no one mentioning this?
