Once it was said that "university degree is a key to every door when applying for a job", now university degree will only put you close to start in line to job interview. Even though it varies from profession to profession, degree is no longer a guarantee of knowledge or quality. University degree becomes an obligatory to parents or something you only need to be able to mention in CV. Today there are so many courses, that can give basics knowledge, that people study for years in university. Later, those basic knowledge can be mastered during work/at work.
That is still valid in my country because when you have a bachelor's degree and have an insider, it will be easy for us to get a job. Understanding like this is not wrong because of what happens like that and even if you do not have a bachelor's degree and do not have insider then the job is the easiest to get as a laborer. Now there is a slight change that may be achieved by everyone because by having skills we can develop our potential on social media platforms to make money so that diplomas are no longer a reference to find work.
The development of technology insists we must be able to adapt and if the title we have is not so high then it still has the opportunity to make money. That is why skills need to be improved because now there are many opportunities that we can use, such as investment in the crypto industry in an effort to achieve financial freedom.
Situation with applying for job in my country is following: each job have their own tasks, demands and requests. All that former student dont learn at university. He gets basics and detailed an depth information of those basic skills. Other person who instead goes to courses, or study only 2 years at university and get a 1st-level basic knowledge, will receive and will be asked to do same tasks from his employer. And not always, those who have MBA or Bachelor degree perform at work better than those who study 3months individually with someone who sell course. Those with diploma will be first to test by employer, but if they are not creative and can not adopt (because they know only from A to Z what was written in book and told by lecturer), they will be asked to leave soon.
A university degree used to be more important than it is today, but this influence has diminished. One reason for this is the high number of graduates. Another reason is that the teachings differ from those learned in real life, that is, in the workplace.
Experience is generally more valuable than a diploma. However, working for low wages to gain experience poses a significant challenge for employees. This situation varies from country to country. There are job fields where a diploma is important and completion of training is required to work in these fields. In other fields, talent may be more important. Many similar differences exist.
In conclusion, we can say that the importance of a diploma has diminished, but there will always be fields where a diploma is required.
