Yeah as we know against PSG Real Madrid's defense made a lot of mistakes that led to goals and this was done several times --- with a great performance from PSG to bulldoze Real Madrid mercilessly.
I'm not sure how Chelsea will do against PSG in the final, but it's likely that Chelsea will have a better match than Real Madrid, it's just that in the final many are favoring PSG as the winner.
I don't think Chelsea's performance will be much different from Real Madrid's. Chelsea's defense still has many gaps, and their attack is clearly not superior to Real Madrid's. So, with that in mind, I don't think Chelsea's fate will be much different from Real Madrid's. However, finals are always a mystery, and both Chelsea and PSG will certainly give their best. Therefore, with that in mind, I think this match will be more intense than Real Madrid vs. PSG. However, I remain very optimistic that PSG will win the final. We're talking facts, and all the facts point to PSG being superior to Chelsea. This is undeniable, because football is all about player chemistry, strategy, and technique. If all three are good, a team is bound to be great. And PSG currently has all of that, so Chelsea will certainly have a hard time containing them. Therefore, it's not surprising that many people are currently predicting a PSG victory.
Not gonna lie, you are right about PSG is being a level above. Just ask Real Madrid's left flank, which is still probably spinning from that Hakimi-Dembélé triangle. But Chelsea is different. Maresca has dropped their goals conceded by 20 in the Premier League since he came in. Their left side (Cucurella plus that double pivot) has been way more secure than anything Madrid put out
The real wildcard is the transition. Can Chelsea survive the PSG overloads and still hit back? Joao Pedro dropped a masterclass in his semi debut, and Palmer has been threading needles all season. The “finals are a mystery” trope is overrated here. If PSG score early, sure, it could be another cruise, but if Chelsea get through the first 20 minutes intact, things get ugly and scrappy. The only way this looks like PSG-Madrid is if Cucurella and Co. fall apart mentally, and Maresca has got less baggage than Alonso. Might not be pretty, but do not be shocked if Chelsea take it to the edge, especially if Palmer has one of those “hero ball” nights
