Antony situation is kind of difficult to explain but he has really improve in all sense of responsibility as a player. Joining Real Betis was the best for him because his old self is back and looking very great once again. I don’t think he’ll be going back to Manchester United even after seeing an improved performance from him, he’ll likely end up in Real Betis and continue his best form there. I really admire the player and how he plays for this team. Some players just need a new place to showcase themselves better and maybe the Manchester United environment was not the best for him that time.
It looks like at Real Betis, Antony found happiness when playing, and got his confidence back. With any player, these conditions are basic but very important for their performances. It is what we saw in a last half of past season but I am still unsure why it happened. Antony joined Betis in a loan transfer and almost immediately shown as a word class player while his performances in Manchester United over 2 seasons are only massive disappointed.
Yeah, his improved at least his happy and his always playing well to have even caught the interest of few teams. I think Real Betis suits him better than his previous team Manchester United. Although, his still a Manchester United player only on loan at Spain currently. I feel like the club should buy him but I'm not sure if they can because of how much Manchester United would want for his purchase. Well if the new coach wants to use him he can just be recalled after all his loan spell was for a season. But personally, I think he shouldn't go back to Manchester United, that club isn't suitable for him. It's just my opinion though.
It can be a team or a league that suits Antony better. At least Antony played better at Real Betis and it's good improvement for himself after two disappointed seasons with Manchester United. It can help him to gain confidence again and rescue his own career before it is too late. Real Betis and Antony can feel very happy with each other but it's challenging for Real Betis to officially buy Antony. Barriers are from salary demand of Antony and transfer price asked by Manchester United. It's only partially up to Antony like whether he is ready to cut down his high salary as his proactively action for joining Real Betis.
