They believe they have the power to do anything, and since they have a lot of money, they can essentially do whatever they want. They think that killing is the solution to all their problems, and that's the reason why they are going to be tried in court.

Those authorities who protect the rich in exchange of money will also be exposed. It is scary because gambling is also rising in the Philippines so this news might give an impression that this is the effect of gambling. But that is not the priority here. It should be the victims first and put the suspects in jail.

Is there really any reason that is valid enough to excuse killing? I think no. Taking someone else's life is non negotiable. We are not God. We have no right to take someone else's life.
