Sure of course and that is the disadvantage of over gambling. If you had taken your initial winning then you would have gone home with 20000 BDT but you later lost 15000 BDT, giving you profit of 5000 BDT which is still okay. In some cases, you end up losing even your capital because you stayed back to play after winning.

This happens most times when you go to play live soccer. With live soccer, you can win all day but with a twinkling of an eyelid you lose all because of greed. I have noticed that it is greed that is responsible for so many loses we encounter while gambling.

It also happens with board games like billard, card, dice etc. In fact all sports. It is a general phenomenon that if you don't secure your early lead/winning by either walking away, you might end up losing all and your capital. That is gambling for you.
