I think we are the creators of our own karma and destiny.
The more bad people we are, the more karma punishes us.

It's ok but luck is there you can read in every piece of land in the world every culture made a statement about luck.
Not only that thinking with logic also "luck" exist by itself because karma is like you said develop for what you do, but luck is some from outside of us and that is the main difference is something we can't control.
