Do you think seeing no gambling, hearing no gambling, and talking no gambling, not even a mention of a gambling site, will decrease addiction? Is it a good resolution?

The obvious answer is yes,, those giant billboards work just like traditional ads, except in this case, they're doing more harm than good. Passersby see them constantly, and that repetition sticks. It creates brand recall and tempts people, especially those already vulnerable, to try out gambling apps that are easily accessible via mobile and digital payment systems.

That’s one of the major reasons why gambling addiction has been rising fast in the country, it’s not just the games themselves, but how aggressively they’re marketed in public spaces.

I completely agree with your point.

That is primarily the reason on why there are tons of ads being spent in order to show gambling. More advertisements mean more reach to users which has an effect to the number of people using the said application or activity. Necessarily when the government proposes bills that limit and/or restrict gambling, the impact would most likely be affected in the following days to come.

I just hope that before the government proposes a complete ban on gambling, they should strike a balance between the interest of the state in promoting the welfare of their citizens AND the economic impact on its revenue.
