It depends how financial strong wall you have built around you, that will determine if you will regret for increasing your needs or not op. If you are not wealthy yet, don't increase your needs because it will affect your health and other things when you don't have funds to purchase your needs that is making you healthy or looking good, but if you have different sources of income that is bring income to you everyday or weekly, it will help you not to regret or miss some of the needs you have purchased in the past because you have the funds to purchase the needs again.

You will know if you can already afford other things if you are accumulating extra funds. But as much as possible, you can also invest it to other assets so you can gain passive income out of it. You need to be smart with your money, else, you can easily liquidate it to just unnecessary things. At the end of the day, it is you who will decide what to do in your life, right? So think of the repercussions of your decision so you can already gauge where you are heading at. It is not wrong to buy some wants every once in a while. Because the reason why we are working hard is to buy what we really want. But of course, don't overspend, and think of what to do next not to deplete what you have. At least, find some alternatives how to augment your income.
