We saw a significant performance from Roma towards the end of the last season. The team excelled fast and qualified for the Europa League. Roma were only 1 point behind Juventus, so they could not qualify for the Champions League. So if this team can perform in the same way, they will become more competitive in Serie A. However, neither Inter Milan nor Roma have made any significant changes to their squads. They will play with the same squad next season. Inter Milan and Roma should have tried to strengthen their squads a bit more. Inter Milan should have nourished their defense and Roma should have stepped up their forward line. Roma carried on to net only 56 goals last season.

Not only these teams, I think the whole transfer window has been really slow for Italian teams because even the likes of Napoli and AC Milan haven't really made an impactful signing to their squad but for teams like Roma who needs to be more offensive I think not signing any forward player would affect themselves since they are already looking to be good in respect of their end of season form.
