I agree that Ancelotti can not be blamed alone for the teams inability to win a trophy last season,  one of the faults I found is that they had a cluster of stars and in the bid to shine independently,  they had some undertone selfish performance,  may not be obvious but it did affected the team, sometimes it is disadvantage to have too many players who are stars on the team, at some point there were conflict of positions while in play amongst some of the players,  that is one of the challenges xabi will be facing at Real Madrid,  a rotational strategy may be ideal to save the day this season.
Carlo Ancelotti certainly had his chance and did well, no one can say anything about that. i think it was a good thing for Real Madrid to have him.
Afterwards, he decided to take on a different challenge: coaching Brazil to bring them back to top form. A coach like him loves these challenges.
Real Madrid is very fortunate to have Don Carlo, as he has carved a significant legacy for the club. Looking at his career as a whole, he is a great coach; he never lost his dressing room, and he could have coached any team, even to every league and Champions League title. His tactics have made him highly underrated, but he has always been successful because he can utilize the abilities of every player at his disposal. So, we can see that Don Carlo's tactics are essentially, "I don't care what you do, as long as you score goals." From this, we can see that he gives every player freedom.

So, it's not surprising that Real Madrid's game hasn't completely changed under Xabi Alanso. Real Madrid players seem unfamiliar with Xabi Alanso's current coaching system, which uses a system. However, I'm confident that after the painful defeat to PSG in the Club World Cup, Xabi will correct these mistakes and become a respected team next season, especially in the Champions League.
